We're on a mission to uplift and empower adolescents and their families by instilling strong values and promoting self-esteem, education, and overall well-being. Through our efforts, we aim to combat negative outcomes related to health and mental illnesses.

NLE taking action!

New Level of Excellence (NLE) has a clear mission and objective: to significantly reduce the incidence of teen pregnancy in Miami while boosting high school graduation rates, and enhancing access to higher education and vocational training.

Our approach is multifaceted and rooted in empowerment. NLE is committed to supporting young mothers and fathers, advocating for their success in the face of any circumstance. Through mentorship, community building, and practical workshops, we're not just offering assistance—we're transforming lives.
 

We recognize that true empowerment comes from providing adolescents with the tools they need for a fulfilling life. This encompasses bolstering self-esteem and motivation, promoting healthy lifestyles, and raising awareness about mental health, sexual health, STD prevention, and the importance of continued education.

NLE's community services are designed to touch every aspect of our participants' lives:

  • Health: Elevating awareness around both mental and physical well-being.

  • Education: Offering support in academic achievement, college readiness, and high school scholastics.

  • Community Support: Organizing initiatives like book bag and school supply drives, a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, and a Spring Fling Prom Dress event to support families and students.

  • Sexuality: Conducting workshops to provide accurate information and foster healthy attitudes toward sexuality.

  • Mentoring: Pairing young individuals with mentors who can guide, support, and inspire them.
     

At NLE, we're not just aiming to address the symptoms of issues like teen pregnancy and educational gaps; we're working to uplift and empower an entire generation. By fostering resilience, knowledge, and support, we're helping young people and their families navigate the challenges of today and paving the way for a brighter, more successful tomorrow.
